Thanks Amy Butler

What do you get a friend who has everything?? I couldn't think of anything to get Ashley for her birthday, then I decided to try making her this pillow. I found the free pattern on Amy Butler's site. I did a couple things different than the pattern; I had to add a few extra petals, I used a fabric print on the back, I used craft felt instead of wool felt (b/c it's cheaper), and I sewed on a few pearl beads in the center....I love the way it turned out! Hmmm, maybe I need one too :)

sewing in WI

Here are the fun projects my sister and I made while I was visiting her in Wisconsin.

Decorated burp cloths. My mom had bought Claire some new burp cloths....so we made them stylin'.

Hooded towels. These are super easy and cute. Nice big bath towels work great for toddlers too.

Snowflake dresses. Gwen really wanted a snowflake dress, so here it is. We just did super simple "pillowcase dresses". I hope her girls like them!
