I'm excited to introduce you all to one of my best friends...Tami!!!  Hi!  I’m Tami of Sweet Bryar Crowns & All The Trend.  I am so excited to be a guest here at Get Your Craft On!  (Thanks Lynette, you are the BEST!)  

A few nuggets about ME!

• I have been married for almost 11 years to my amazing husband and best friend, Scott.
• I am lucky to be a ‘stay at home mom’ to two adorable sons – Kyle & Colby.
• I LOVE to CREATE!  Quilt, Sew, Needlework, Paper Crafting, whatever.  (My sweet husband puts up with a lot!)
• Scott, and my oldest son, Kyle (6 years old), love to golf…so two years ago I decided to start golfing too.  I didn’t want to be left out of the fun they were having!  Golfing is one of those sports that you feel you should excel at, but sheesh, it’s TOUGH!  I’m enjoying the challenge.
• We LOVE to travel!  I wish time and $ would allow for more of it.  For our 10 year anniversary, Scott and I spent a week in St. Lucia…it was DIVINE! 
• Purple is my favorite color.
• I have recently discovered that I really like eating fish.  A good mahi-mahi is to die for!

I started All The Trend over five years ago as a ‘hobby business’.  My initial focus was mainly on  infant and toddler items.  While this is still a big part of what I love to do, I’ve branched out!

Birthday Cake Anyone?

I'm in charge of the little kids at church and I wanted to come up with a simple, but fun way to celebrate each ones birthday. So, here is my cute little towel Birthday Cake! It's just two bath towels rolled together for the bottom and two hand towels rolled together for the top. You can decorate it however you want! This one is simple and I added fun pencils as candles for the kids to choose when it's their birthday. I think they'll like it!

The Monster Couple

I had someone ask for a "Money Monster" tooth fairy pillow recently, so I thought since I was making one, I should make two!! The blue one is for my 6 year old son, who how his first loose tooth! I sure hope that thing comes out soon so he can use his little monster....oh, and b/c there is totally a adult tooth coming up behind it, yikes!!

Making these little monsters, makes me want to make a few big ones as gifts for my kiddos for Christmas...we'll see if I can pull it off!!! Are you giving any handmade gifts this year??

My friend Tanya has more style in her pinky than I will ever have!  She has amazing style both in her wardrobe and in her home.  She is a great decorater and artist and does custom pieces for her home that are simply amazing!  Her style is modern and so cool!  Seriously, even her bathroom is amazing!  Tanya and her sister, Brittany, have opened an etsy shop called 2contrast that has an assortment of cool things.  Including vintage pieces and handmade works.  Go check it out and show them some love!!!

I have no fun Halloweeny pictures to show you! I just wanted to stop in and say hello and let you all know that I'm still alive!!! I've been so busy sewing hats that I feel like the walking dead sometimes! I've been up till the wee hours of the night sewing!! I'm having a blast though! I need to get this big bunch of orders out, so I can work on a few new designs. I've got a bunch of fun ideas I want to try out...so stay tuned!
