Freaky Friday!

I'm so excited to be joining Becca for "Freaky Friday"! Becca has amazing creativity and I love checking out her blog to see what she's come up with next! So, I guess I need to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Lynette and THIS is my blog. I don't know why I named it Get Your Craft On, probably because everything else I could think of was already taken :) I started my blog not too long ago for a place to keep track of all my crafty projects. I quickly got sucked in to the world of craft blogs! I love (okay, I'm obsessed) checking out different craft blogs. There are just so many talented people out there with amazing ideas! Like a lot of you out there, I'm a stay-at-home mom who loves to make things. I love my kids to pieces but secretly wish I could lock myself in my sewing room for a few days (with some circus peanuts and cherry coke, of course). So, here is my cute family:

We recently moved from our cute 2 bedroom townhouse where I got my first sewing machine (4 years ago) into a nice single family home...yeah! Now instead of spilling spaghetti sauce on my Brother sewing machine that was permanently resting on my kitchen table, I have my very own sewing room! I can't even contain myself with how happy this makes me! Take a looksy:

I love lots of different crafts, but mostly sewing. I love to sew! I especially love to sew things for my little girl...girl things are so much fun! Oh, and don't get me started on making hairbows...love 'em! Here are a few favorite girly things:

I also enjoy quilting and other non-clothing related sewing projects.
Here are a few of my favs:

This Americana quilt actually has the Pledge of Allegiance quilted in to the red border.

Well, that's about all for me...I don't want to completely bore you. I'd love to have you stop by my blog anytime! Thanks again Becca!!

Now, GO GET YOUR CRAFT ON!!!
