I used a car seat blanket for my daughter (I never had one for my son) and absolutely LOVE them!! I could bundle her up good and keep her nice and warm without having to fiddle with a blanket that would fall off. this infant seat blanket is such cute idea. it made me wonder if you've come across some instructions on making your own replacement cover for the interior pad of the seat (as opposed to a cover that drapes over the whole thing like a tent)? the one inside my seat now is made of some sort of polyester or vinyl material that makes my son all hot and sweaty.
